Kit & Assets
The Kit and Assets section of Traffio allows you to store information about your stock of uniforms, company-supplied PPE, radios and other assets that you allocate to your employees. This feature allows your company to track what, when, and how many of each item has been assigned to each employee. The allocation log serves as a source of truth so you can ensure your inventory levels are without discrepancy.
Kit
Kit refers to any uniform or PPE that your company supplies to your employees. Kit Categories allows you to create different categories in which your individual items are classified as. This is useful when you've got multiple sizes of the same item. While creating your business kit, you're able to assign a specific name, default value per item and toggle on if it's active. This active toggle differentiates between your old uniform and your updated ones.
Kit Allocations
When allocating kit to your employees you can choose to bulk allocate or allocate singular items. To bulk allocate you select the 'Allocate Kit' button next to the search bar in the kit allocations tab. Here you can select the employee you'd like to allocate kit to and then fill in the quantities in which you're allocating to them. You're also able to use this area to log if kit is being returned by employees for example in the event that they needed to swap a size. This is done by toggling on the Return toggle. Notes can also be added against these allocations. Once an allocation is created it will appear on the 'Kit allocation' log. This log allows you to track and export the data of which employee and when kit was allocated to them. This works as a source of truth if employees say they hadn't received kit or if they're taking an adsorbent amount.
Assets
Assets refer to smaller pieces of equipment or technology that you allocate to your staff on a long-term or short-term basis. Examples of Assets are two-way radios, mobiles, laptops and light wands. These assets can be organised into categories so if you have numerous makes of equipment they're categorised together. Assets are able to have an expiry added to them, this allows you to be notified if they need to be replaced to ensure compliance. Asset statuses identify what condition or working status the asset is in. These statuses could include active, Inactive, damaged, spare or any bespoke status that is used by your company. Individual assets have a history tab where you can see when and to who the asset has been allocated too.
