August Updates

Throughout August, the Traffio developers have been hard at work introducing new features within the portal. A higher access level has been introduced to allow upper management further permissions. This includes the new 'estimated revenue report' that allows users to see the estimated revenue on any given day for jobs that haven't been invoiced out yet. Old projects that have lapsed can now be archived by setting the project to inactive to avoid jobs being booked in old projects. Conversations that you've had with your clients are now able to be logged within the portal. This log allows for clearer communication with your employees through creating notes about conversations relating to clients, projects, or client contacts.

Administrator access

An “Administrator” access level has been added to Traffio. This is the highest access level that someone can have in Traffio. This level was added in relation to the new financial reports that were added into Traffio. This administrator access has the authority to see and grant permission for others to see these business revenue reports. To avoid the system granting this access inappropriately, employees with manager access did not automatically have this access given to them. Alternatively, we encourage you to reach out so we are able to grant this access to the appropriate people within your business.

Reports

In conduction with the new traffio access level, an ‘Estimated revenue report’ as been added to the system. Only people with the ‘Estimated revenue report access’ permission can access this report. This access can only be given out by employees with ‘Administrator’ access. Contact Traffio to be granted this access if no o

ne in your business currently has this access level.

This report works by running bookings for a chosen period through the billing engine and summing totals of billable items. Only bookings without existing invoices or that don’t last longer than 24 hours are factored into this report currently. During this process, no invoices are created.

This is the first version of this report and further development is planned further down the track after feedback from users.

Project is active

Projects have been given the ability to be made inactive. Within projects, there is a toggle that you can switch off to archive old bookings that have been completed. Toggling this off will puta cross with the ‘Is active’ column and remove the ability for bookings to be created for this project. Within the project list, there is also a new ‘Active project’ filter this filter allows you to filter out any inactive projects from your view.

Client Conversations

A new simple CRM tool has been now part of Traffio. Located on the side panel, the conversations tab is accessible for every employee with office staff or high access within Traffio. Within this area is the conversations log and a conversation methods area. This feature allows you to log conversations that you have had with your clients, this log gives you the ability to record these conversations against specific clients, projects or specific client contacts.

Within the Conversations method section, you're able to create bespoke conversation methods specific to your company these may include things like booking inquiries or invoice payment reminders.

Tags linked to these conversations along you to set an outcome of the conversation. Generic conversation tags have been added to the system with the ability to create more and set an icon in the tags area in the admin.

Other updates

Bookings

  • Added ability to mark equipment as 'Already on site' by clicking the piece of equipment on the booking board and selecting 'Already On Site'. This functionality is not available to equipment that is attached to a vehicle and will be automatically unmarked if dragged onto a vehicle.

Fatigue

  • The bookings board now displays two weeks' worth of work hours for each person.

Reports

  • Added travel time to the person dockets report.

  • Added depot arrive, leave and return times to the columns available to be exported using an export template.

  • Docket notes added to the full export of the 'Person Dockets' report.

  • Added vehicle ID to the table view of the Envision bulk upload (vehicle) report.

Payroll

  • Updated 'Non-driver allow.' column to the pay run 'Overrides' screen. It will now also show as pale yellow if the current value does not match the automatically calculated value for the allowance.

  • The 'Travel allow.' column on the 'Overrides' screen will now show pale yellow if the current value does not match the automatically calculated value.

  • When measured from the depot, distance-based allowances are calculated from the person's home depot as opposed to the booking's depot. Effectively, this only changes results for people who are scheduled 'from another depot' on the booking board.

Billing

  • Added ability to reissue finalised invoices without having to generate the invoice from bookings again. See the 'Reissue and Credit' button on any finalised invoice. Note: If you reissue a merged invoice, the reissued invoice cannot be unmerged.

  • Added mobile worksite addresses to the descriptions on invoice line items when generating an invoice.

Tags Icons

  • You may now choose icons to go with your tags and conversations. The drop-down list contains an extensive list that must be searched.

  • You can see the full list of icons that are available here: Font awesome icons

Bug Fixes

Pronto

  • Adjusted the 'Pronto Export' output format to be a txt file without column headers.

People

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent people from being updated.

Payrun

  • Fixed an issue in which the UI showed that a change to a pay run shift's override values had been saved when they had not.

KeyPay

  • Fixed a bug that caused KeyPay syncs to fail when coming from Traffio URLs with a custom subdomain.

  • Fixed bug which prevented some employees from being pushed to KeyPay that were being paid tax-free pay rates.

Invoice

  • While an invoice is being saved, all other buttons are temporarily disabled. This avoids an issue where newly added line items could be duplicated when changing the invoice's status while it is being saved.

  • Fixed an invoicing bug where charged break time in a devolved shift could cause a double charge.

Safari compatibility

  • Fixed a compatibility issue with Safari that caused strange behaviour since our release yesterday.

Bookings Board

  • Fixed the hours filter on the bookings board, and the ability to show more info without the charts.

SmartConnect

  • Fixed bug relating to SmartConnect accounting package which resulted in a confirmation pop-up window erroneously appearing.
